But back to Chicago. The whole northern channel of the river has very bad suburban development. Why I said this will be a gamechanger is because with this development it will open the floodgates to help develop the rest of that whole Elston/Clybourn North Center corridor. Just wait and see.
We'll see. The Kennedy prevents the foot traffic from reaching a critical mass at Ashland/Elston/Armitage. It's highly congested, there's just next to no street life. Bridging that enclave w/ the more lively east bank of the river (not that it's super bustling over there) is going to take a bit of time. Would be nice to see both sides developing simultaneously so there's less of a drop off in the scene as you make your way west towards the Kennedy.
