Another timely "catch up" from the previous thread - a virtual groundbreaking for Commongrounds Cooperative was just held on December 1, 2020, more than 1-1/2 years after its initial approval and after receiving a
$1.5 million state grant from the Michigan Community Revitalization Program in October 2020. The 4-story, mixed-use project will be built at
the Northwest corner E. Eighth St. & Boardman Ave. on a surface lot. Construction is expected to wrap up in March 2022.
