Since then NY has come back stronger with so many new projects like 30 Hudson Yards which I look forward to visiting in person when I return to the city. Based on the photos Nyguy posted the vantage view point from 30 Hudson looks completely different from what I'm use to seeing from the ESB. Sadly, I never got the chance to visit the WTC before they went down even though I saw them from a distance many years ago.

20 years ago. Wow. The world has changed so much. If not for Covid I would still say 9/11 was still the most recent event to change the world.
