I've always been fascinated with the Seattle Coliseum/KeyArena and now I guess Climate Pledge Arena. It's probably the only major arena in the country that has gone through a complete and total renovation two times now (as opposed to just some minor renovating). Both renovations essentially gutted the interior of the arena.

The old Coliseum:

KeyArena (renovated in 1996):

And now Climate Pledge Arena:

Kinda remarkable how dramatic it has changed over the years. Of course, KeyArena, as awesome as it was, quickly became obsolete despite its mid-90s renovation and that led to the Sonics leaving. It's a shame they couldn't have renovated the arena like this back in the 90s.

The Jazz continue to play in the arena they built in 1991. They've renovated it but nothing like what Seattle has done:

Delta Center around 1994:
