^^^Well, all the major cities in South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach) are only a few miles away from their respective international airports. I guess that justifies the FAA's restrictions.

But like I said before, some good comes out of this. Instead of investing so much on a few 1,000+ ft towers, skylines in South Florida can develop a bunch of slightly shorter towers which add to central density and multiple skylines through the region. Similar to Tokyo and even Houston stateside.
