i know this is an old post, but i would just like to add, Removing a lane would only increase congestion slightly, but it could delay buses and it already takes a little while for a bus to get from downtown to the university's main campus. Removing the on street parking and adding bus lanes could be another solution, but i feel it is beneficial to the businesses on the street. Maybe a solution is to create a combination bike a bus lane along the corridor and have a slightly narrower boulevard. It works in other cities, why not Windsor?
