Reading the recent posts in this thread raise my hopes and expectations but I'm gonna stay realistic and still be happy with 1,250 - 1,500 range.

I don't think so, because that would mean a taller tower than Burj Khalifa and this is very unlikely in New York. At most you can think that on the site of the Roosevelt hotel the tallest tower in the city could rise.

Agreed, it would likely require a massive spire (which the BK also has) to reach anywhere near there.
I'm more into roof height, 500m would be amazing.
