Oregon-based coffee chain The Human Bean brews up first San Antonio shops

San Antonio has a number of coffee shops sprouting throughout the city, from brick and mortar buildings to coffee trucks. Now another coffee chain is adding San Antonio to its portfolio of shops. The Human Bean announced its newest location in San Antonio will be opening up this summer, according to a news release. An official opening date has yet to be announced.
The Human Bean will be at 25510 Bulverde Road in San Antonio. The location is owned and operated by Fischer's Market Management President Rodney Fischer and real estate development director Kirk Brumley. Brumley is eager to bring The Human Bean franchise to the San Antonio area, according to the release. The Human Bean is now accepting job applications for the summer opening.
"I am excited about the addition of this coffee drive-thru franchise to our company," Fischer said in the release. "I look forward to working with another family-owned business that shares similar core values, and community-oriented business model."
According to The Human Bean website, there will also two more locations in San Antonio, one at 7224 FM 78 and one at 9642 Marbach Road. The drive-thru location will open at the same time the new Fischer's Neighborhood Market is planning to open. They share the same parking lot.
The Human Bean started in 1998 in southern Oregon. There are over 300 locations open, under construction, or in the planning stages in over 25 states.
