Did they mention how they will be crossing the Metra tracks? There was a study a few years ago, but they never reached a decision:

The tunnel was clearly the best option - most direct route, shallowest slopes - but the "north overpass" option 1 was also promising since it could be integrated with the Metra station platforms (
example). I imagine it would also have some pretty spectacular skyline views, the view from the Kennedy at that spot is amazing.
