There are some parts of Camden that are gentrifying (the area around Rutgers; Lanning Square) and are interesting in their own right (
Fairview; that area where Latinos are unslumming) already. It still does have a long way to go, yes, but it's made a lot more progress in the last ten years than most people realize.
