A small, mediocre two bedroom in Manhattan would cost the same as a 20,000 sf mansion in Atlanta. I'd take 1,000 sf in Manhattan or SF over a mansion in Atlanta, but I'd rather live in Atlanta than in Silicon Valley, which I don't find appealing.
