Chetrit’s Massive Miami River Project Ready For Commission Review

Plans for the Miami River project have been slightly modified ahead of a review by the Miami River Commission and submission to the city as a Special Area Plan under the Miami 21 zoning code.
According to an affidavit signed by Ari Pearl, a representative of the developer, the development company that is proposing the project is 100% owned by Joseph Chetrit.
Public benefit contributions will total at least $22 million, including the required rebuild of the riverwalk and a reconfiguration of a nearby exit from I-95.
