I think they just run out of excuses and just for the sake of arguing, have to have a scapegoat.

It's almost like developers cater to their needs, but there still grumpy about it. Eh, but not the first time. I mean, you have developments that include a park, a school, little parking, affordable housing... yet they still complain. But things like this keep them relevant you know. What they really want is no development, so only they could have the city. Godforbid new residents come in! That's not kosher in their book. NIMBYism is a selfish act. They don't care about the community, only their own self and the way that they want the neighborhood to be. Selfishness at its best.
