there is nothing inherently vermont about st albans or its waterfront sister village. it looks like similar ne ohio towns like chardon, painesville, medina.

more iconically vermontish would be in the mountains like stowe. certainly stowe, vt is nothing like stowe in ne ohio lol.

burlington too, which is on the waterfront and generally has a lot more older structures as you would expect in vermont, differs from ohio college towns. or there really isnt an equivalent anyway. maybe a combo of athens, ohio lookswise, but yellow springs hippy vibes wise.
