Three low-rise buildings along Dean Street in Crown Heights, once part of a brewery, will soon be razed to make way for an eight-story, 119-unit building. The site, given as 937 Bergen Street in Department of Buildings records but dubbed 1036 Dean Street by the current owner, will give way to apartments with ground-floor retail measuring 18,749 square feet. The 81,880-square-foot residential portion will include 119 units. Whether the apartments will be rentals or condominiums was not immediately clear.
