53-Story M Tower Submitted For UDRB Review

Downtown 56, LLC is moving forward with plans to develop a 53-story mixed-use building called M Tower in downtown Miami.
The developer submitted plans late last month for the project to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board. The board meeting to review the project is scheduled for next week.
According to the plans prepared by architect Zyscovich, the 628-foot tower is to include 440 residential units, 25,000 square feet of office space, and ground floor retail.
The project is proposed as part of the redevelopment of the Miami Parking Authority Cultural Center Garage at 70 Southwest First St. Downtown 56 owns adjacent land and was selected as the winning bidder after an RFP from the MPA.
Downtown 56 lists Jorge Brugo of Axis Realty Trust (a principal behind the Pi Art Tech bid for Miami Dade College’s 520 Biscayne) as a contact.
