Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 282 Hinsdale Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Sutter Avenue and Blake Avenue, the through lot is a short walk to the Sutter Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 82-foot-tall development will yield 59,592 square feet, with 40,403 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 71 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 569 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar.
