That's good to hear. Earlier news made it seem like they would change the entire design to accommodate more residential units, but maybe what is being debated is how much of the existing residential units are permanently affordable, which has more to do with cost of those units and not the overall building design.

A poster on skyscrapercity suggested that construction work on 5 WTC would begin around mid 2023, around July to October.

Whatever is ultimately chosen to be built, it is not likely that construction will get underway until the 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2023, unless they are particularly ambitious about getting started with construction in the first quarter of 2023.
