That's a good point. The Riverwalk is a somewhat intimate setting, so skyscrapers right on it would seem a bit much. It may happen someday, but I think the taller buildings somehow "belong" farther away from the river. They give a nod to business and highrise living, as opposed to dining and touristing in a more relaxed and/or party atmosphere that is the Riverwalk.
