The place that I regularly see NYS troopers in NYC is at the foot of the Marine Parkway Bridge between Brooklyn and the Rockaway peninsula in Queens. For whatever reason, they appear to have jurisdiction over the bridge for traffic enforcement. I almost never see NYPD around there.
