Wow, that's not very good looking, even in the plans.
That end of Broadway has plenty of great looking buildings in sometimes rough shape, 661 being one of them (it actually looks quite nice if you don't look too closely), and all those old brick apartments, some of which are quite fantastic despite their deterioration. I wonder what materials they are actually planning to use. The plans show brick around the entrances (and they show the actual entrances).
