Is Chestnut Street reduced to one lane here??? I don't care how 'tedious' demolition is , that just is not acceptable. They can tear down and build buildings in other cities without closing sidewalks let alone traffic lanes. Why do we screw over our pedestrians, drivers and transit riders so much in this city?
