That type of artist community would be perfect for a smaller scaled project, like the Watkins warehouse in Point Douglas. I don't think it would be appropriate for a massive historical landmark building like HBC in one of the city's most prominent locations. I'm also not sure that the likely benefactors of such a project would have the means to pull off such a massive and costly undertaking in a building that big.
