I would be more than fine keeping it open indefinitely. It's got excellent proximity to Michigan Ave and multiple hotels, and a massive parking structure across the street that will make access for suburbanites and out of town drivers easier. Once the main casino is built, they can have a 24 hour shuttle service going back and forth between the two in order to easily grab tourists. This will also have the added benefit of keeping the casino busses off Michigan Ave; if there's no mini Medinah Temple casino, Bally's would probably push for a Michigan Ave drop off/pick up point for the main casino location.
