I believe that based on the most recent weekly stats, Chicago is leading the pack in terms of large cities experiencing a reduction in murders. Murders are down 15 percent in Chicago compared to last year YTD. Boston (-13%) and NYC (-12%) are not far behind. Unfortunately some cities are experiencing increases, including Philly (+3%) and DC (+1%).
