The Lantham closed this week. It's turning into apartments. So one hotel gone and another to replace it on 17th St. I live above the Nordstrom Rack on 17th St and the one thing about the hotels that are annoying are hearing the constant whistling for cabs that pierce through the walls and windows all day. Other than that, the foot traffic at street level at least keeps the city lively around that area.
