The AMTRAK terminus is nearly complete at the MIC but there was a huge gaffe between AMTRAK & the FL. DOT when they built the platforms too short by 200 feet to accommodate longer trains that would block a key intersection at NW 25th. street. The state of Florida blames Amtrak.
