There's no doubt there's a problem with the sidewalks and the settling is intense in places, but inferring that it's due to the fact that ~50ft structures were not anchored to bedrock is absurd.
Most people seem to have their math backward on this issue; sidewalk sinks but not the building itself—so it must be the building.
