Public Hearing Scheduled for Hudson Hotel Zoning

City Council’s Rules Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 30, at 10:00 a.m., on Bill #140858, which would create a zoning change that would enable the construction of the proposed $125 million Hudson Hotel at 17th and Chancellor Streets.

The hotel will contain 300 rooms and 40 executive suites and is being designed by DAS Architects. The penthouse floor will house an exclusive dining venue with panoramic city views, and two stories of luxury retail shops are planned along with underground parking.

In February, the Center City Residents Association (CCRA) voted to not oppose the construction.
