While the city moves forward with plans to demolish this highly-visible & vacant industrial site, construction continues two blocks east (at the corner of 19th & Wood Streets) on Northwood Health Systems' new outpatient and residential care services addition. The 24,800 SF, 2-story addition project is the result of a domino effect caused by the 2019 closure of the Ohio Valley Medical Center on Eoff Street, where NMS rented space. The work also includes the city's vacating of Lane F (located just west of the current administration building) and the demolition of three small buildings along it, which will allow the center to accommodate more parking.
