Very cool I had no idea this building was still surviving. It also has an interesting connection with another historic preservation announced this year the former home of President Grant who lived in the vicinity of Central Market during the 1850s while working as quartermaster general. His purchased a second larger home for him and his wife closer to the quartermasters office in the local army barracks after spending what he called the most miserable winter of his life after a brief posting in upstate NY. This second Grant home is the one being moved back close to its original location in the vicinity of Lafayette Park this time near the Dequindre Cut extension from its current location at the former state fair grounds.
