Note: Mentioned on the first page list. But without precise details. This information adds height, proper floors, and the types of units along with the square footage, will update the first page list (I make sure not to include duplicates, as each post corresponds to a single project. Will make an overall review of all the midrises planned. Not to many low rises as there are a good 100 plus midrises planned or in the preparation state since I started this compilation (Includes 6-12 stories as a mid rise is generally defined.

Despite constant assurances to the contrary, the chatter about WD-50 closing was in fact truth. So, after more than a decade in business, the Clinton Street pioneer (and gentrifier) will be closing its doors come fall. Owner-chef Wylie Dufresne casually dropped the bombshell news via Twitter last night. The last day will be November 30; you have 172 days to dine there before it’s gone for good.

As we first reported in the new year, the tract of low-rise buildings comprising 50-62 Clinton Street will soon fall to welcome more luxury living. The new brick structure will rise 74 feet and carry 37 apartments. Total zoning area includes 37,868 square-feet dedicated to residential, and another 1,836 for the ground floor commercial unit. Issac & Stern is the architect of record for the project.
