Plans have been filed and renderings have been spotted for a new eight-story apartment building proposed for 313 West 121st Street in Harlem (h/t New York YIMBY). The property, which consists of both no. 313 and 315, according to public records, sits between Manhattan Avenue and Frederick Douglas Boulevard. A five-story residential building currently stands at no. 315, and the rendering shows the new building rising on the empty lot beside it. YIMBY spotted the rendering on the Architzer page of Soluri Architects, and a brief description says there will be four full-floor two-bedrooms, a duplex penthouse, and a triplex garden level apartment. Filings with the Department of Buildings indicate a duplex garden unit instead, but still six units total. As proposed, the building would have a glass facade that's sliced at an angle to create balconies for the units.
