Here's the final part to the Helsinki photoset from our second day there. Aleksanterinkatu is a busy retail street in Helsinki.

Temppeliaukio Church is an interesting sight visit, being completely carved into the solid bedrock.

Eduskuntatalo is the seat of the Parliament of Finland. The granite building was completed in 1931.

Helsinki Music Centre was a very controversion venue when completed in 2011.

Finlandia Hall was designed by Alvar Aalto, a famous Finnish architect.

Oodi is the brand new central library with an impressive wooden facade.

View of Kansalaistori square from top floor of Oodi.

Esplanade is a narrow park surrounded by many luxury stores and hotels.

Punavuori is one of the beautiful downtown neighborhoods that is a popular place to live.

St. John's Church (Johanneksenkirkko) is a beautiful Gothic Revival stule church in neighbouring Ullanlinna neighborhood.

That's it for this tour of Helsinki during some of the shortest days of the year. More photos of Finland to come again another time.
