Little known fact: Like its adjacent neighbor to the south — and long before it became a part of UArts as Anderson Hall — this building was a parking garage, Sley's Pennsylvania Garage, later leased to the U.S.M.C. (Universal Service Motors Company) garage chain, which also ran the now-doomed garage on the corner.
