It has been such a treat to watch the neighborhood transform over the past couple of years.

Friends and I went to brunch at Dutch and Doc's a couple of weeks back and we just kept remarking how we were having fancy brunch in a beautiful gastropub with a cool af vibe and a postcard view of the marquee in what was a dreary suburban McDonald's parking lot for far too many years.

I get off the L at night now and think about going west for a quick beer instead of just beating it straight home.
