At the very least, this pause for the next few years as Penn 1 and 2 are renovated hopefully will serve to fade Vornado's interest in the monstrosity that is the current vision for the tower... something in this critical location bridging the Hudson Yards and Midtown West should be an out and out classic, not a garish, horribly crowned tech nerd- inspired eyesore of a disaster. Companies can want what they want, but Vornado can't lay an egg here. This could be a blessing... but would they do ANYTHING to renovate the current (and fairly miserable) Hotel Pennsylvania in the meantime? or just leave as is, still kinda miserable?
