From an outta-stater's POV like mine, it's hard to tell since Austin is of sorts the Johnny-come-lately of TX skyline growt.

But if you look at how haphazardly mid-to low highrise development grows all over in Dallas, my guess is that zoning is lenient to say the least.

PS: Great design. A supra-parapet element would've made it standout better IMO.
