This is a redevelopment of the entire area. After decades of gradually being "erased", all of the old buildings are going to be replaced outright. (In fact, its one of the major reasons people who are against it are against it). The rezoning has been put in place. Everything will be new - right down to the infrastructure. I said the area surrounding Luna Park is run-down and overall crappy. As I have been trying to say Luna Park might be nice for a while but in ten years or so it will be no different then Astroland the park it replaced. Do you know the difference between Luna Park and Coney Island?
