I haven’t been anywhere in west Africa, but I have 3 friends/former colleagues of British Nigerian descent and one of my favourite high end restaurants in London is Nigerian. I don’t think I could handle the heat and humidity in that part of Africa though. But Nairobi on the other hand, aside from the miserable traffic (a problem everywhere on the continent) has some pretty cool scenes emerging (and a penchant for great Mexican food which is odd but welcome).
