When completed this will be the 6th tallest building in Texas. A spire could have made this a supertall, but like
The ATX said, Austin will likely get a supertall in the near future anyway.

Austin's skyscraper construction has left all other Texan cities in the dust. For almost 40 years the tallest building in Texas has been the 1002 ft JPMorgan Chase Tower in Houston. Austin just needs to build something at least 1003 ft to have the state's new tallest skyscraper. With this 848 ft tower, it's getting closer and closer. Houston can't keep Austin at bay for much longer.
