Not much different than a standard apartment building really except the ownership of the units is crowdsourced.
Also, I'm a bit late to the party here but Metro Vancouver is currently at
106 highrises U/C. This number is quite accurate as each crane is tracked on a crowd sourced document and updated by the community. The actual number is likely a bit higher than 106 since projects that lose their crane are removed from the list even though completion of a highrise often takes months after the removal of the tower crane.
