If I remember correctly, HSC/Shared Health/Cancer Care wanted the site that the former MB Clinic was on for a new Cancer Care building. I recall there being some challenges because of the MB Clinic owning the land. All of this became moot when the Pallister axed the whole Cancer Care Project anyways.
I believe the MB Clinic owns all of the land on Sherbrook between Notre Dame and Mc Dermot.
