They could have easily clad glass over the concrete wall, but that is a intricate process, almost like hanging a painting and drives up cost. Since this project already appears to be a train wreck, I don't see that happening...
I can't wait to check out the hotel though! I am actually living in NYC now and my boyfriend and I do a few trips to Philadelphia each year and try a new hotel each time. Last one was the 4 Seasons which was awesome, I've been waiting for the W since 2018...
Next, Philadelphia needs an Edition or St. Regis brand.
