Maybe though its a blessing in disguise. Will force more high rise density in areas that need it as developers look to areas where their developments won't get a big issue. That whole area South of the US Postal building should be razed, so much crap in that area. Also anything along the rail line, I believe West Lake Street. Just from what I've seen, a lot of infill potential. Maybe not as car heavy reliant as living far out in the coast (assuming coastal high rise folks don't take the bus).
The West Loop IMO would benefit the most. Not sure if the NIMBYs are high in that area though?
