Pockets of opposition had been growing in recent years so Trump or no Trump another politician would have seen the opportunity same as her. When I heard that Amazon picked NYC I was pretty sure the contest would blow up in their faces. Contrast their approach with Google's who just leases or buys what they need relatively quietly.
