I'm no planner, but wouldn't you want a plan that is written over a 100-year timeframe. Burnham's plan for Chicago comes to mind. This is much smaller than the Chicago lakefront, but we are also talking about a convention center, new park, a deck over 160+ acres. And it is not in Midtown. This is something that should be developed over decades, no?
