Federal, Phoenix leaders mark full funding for light rail extension
I know this mostly belongs in the Transportation thread, but Mayor Gallego did drop this little teaser/nugget in the press conference. Interesting.

Phoenix officials have called the redevelopment of Metrocenter a priority for years, and the mall has gone through several iterations of plans that have not come to fruition. However, at the signing event Friday, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego teased an upcoming announcement about the future of Metrocenter and a “major investment” in the mall, but did not go into further detail.
