I think this is the same place.
"Kensington Apartments on 1746 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica, Calif."
The description says: "Apartments were built circa 1907 and became the Kensington Motel from 1960 to 1990."

A slight name change, but the details are all the same as the image above. The design looks a little different to both the image above and
e_r's picture - maybe this is just a different side, or it got a makeover with the name change.
