^^^ They just opened a drag club in 2229 S Michigan and rehabbed the upper floors for offices. The problem is those blocks are zoned DS which prohibits residential basically dooming this area to be reliant on spotty convention traffic. It's hard to build a neighborhood around more people than you can ever serve when a convention is going on and literally nobody when there isn't a convention in town.
